چکیده

Radio Frequency Interferences (RFI), such as strong Continuous Wave (CWI), can influence the Quality of Service (QoS) communications, increasing Bit Error Rate (BER) and decreasing Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) in any wireless transmission, including a Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB-S2) receiver. Therefore, this paper presents an algorithm for detecting mitigating Multi-tone Interference (MCWI) using Multiple Adaptive Notch Filter (MANF), based on lattice form structure. The (ANF) is constructed second-order IIR NF. approach consists developing robust low-complexity removing unknown MCWI. MANF model multistage model, with each stage consisting two ANFs: adaptive notch filter Hl(z) HN(z), which detect mitigate CWI. In ANF used estimating Jamming-to-Signal (JSR) frequency interference (w(0)) by LMS-based algorithm. depth then adjusted estimation JSR. contrast, HN(z) to CW interference. Simulation results show that proposed effective method eliminating/reducing effects MCWI, yields better system performance than full suppression (kN=1) low JSR values, mostly same high values. Moreover, track hopping provides error ratio compared case without filter.

Power Line Interference Removal from Electrocardiogram Using a Simplified Lattice Based Adaptive Iir Notch Filter

In this paper we propose the use of a lattice based second order infinite impulse response (IIR) notch filter with a simplified adaptation algorithm for removal of power line frequency from ECG signals. The performance of this filter is better as compared to a second order infinite impulse response (IIR) notch filter for a real time ECG recording systems where the frequency of line varies over ...

Narrow-band interference suppression in direct sequence spread spectrum systems using a lattice IIR notch filter

This paper proposes an algorithm for the suppression of narrow-band interference in direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) systems, based on the open loop adaptive IIR notch filtering. The center frequency of the interference is monitored on-line by the adaptive lattice IIR notch filter in [6] or by time-frequency analysis in [3]. The power of the interference signal is also estimated from the ...

A new IIR adaptive notch filter

A new IIR adaptive notch filter (ANF) with fast convergence rate, accurate estimation of notch frequencies, and modest realization complexity is presented in this paper. The problem of obtaining a notch filter from a given signal containing multiple sine waves in noise is first formulated as the conventional problem of system identification. Then the new ANF is developed via the algorithm of St...

IIR Multiple Notch Filter Design Based on Allpass Filter

In this paper, real coefficient IIR notch filter design problem is investigated. The specification of notch filter is first transformed into that of allpass filter. Then, we develop an effective approach to design this desired allpass filter. The realization of proposed notch filter is equivalent to the realization of an allpass filter. Due to the mirror-image symmetry relation between the nume...
